TREES IN A BOX

We sell Balsam Fir and Fraser Fir in sizes from four feet to six feet tall. We place them in a special shipping box and ship them either US Mail or UPS. This requires a tree that is full and attractive but not excessively fat.

The Process

We cut the tree and warm it up gradually in our Christmas Barn until it is soft and limber. Temperatures in our part of Vermont in late November to mid December vary from plus forty degrees to minus thirty degrees. Then we rush it out to our packager and slip it into the box with a winch. It is to your advantage to avoid having the tree sit over a weekend in a warm warehouse or Post Office.

The Trees

Our trees generally weigh about 30 pounds in the box but can vary by as much as 5 pounds either way.
